We are both proud and humbled to have received numerous industry awards that recognize our hard work and dedication to scientific research. Altasciences won the Most Successful Early Phase Research (Preclinical & Phase I) category at the 2019 Clinical and Research Excellence (CARE) Awards. The praise comes after our teams took an innovative approach to identify and recruit asymptomatic patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), a disease for which recruitment competition is quite high. This project required creative and insightful thinking, analysis and preparation to proactively build a patient database for a condition that is asymptomatic and for which affected patients lack awareness and hence motivation to participate in a clinical trial. Despite joining the trial two months behind other sites, Altasciences became the top enrolling site, recruiting more than 35% of the overall patients. We won our fourth CRO Leadership Award and were deemed a top performer by both small and large pharma respondent groups in the following categories: Capabilities, Compatibility, Expertise, Quality, and Reliability. For a second consecutive year, Altasciences was named Top 10 CROs 2019 by Pharma Tech Outlook and Early Stage CRO of the Year — North America as part of the 2019 GHP awards. INDUSTRY NEWS “ To be recognized by the industry in five different categories is truly an honor and a testament to the dedicated and knowledgeable people we have working at Altasciences. Alta means elevated in Latin, which reflects our high standards, commitment to quality, and dedication to our clients’ experience as they work with Altasciences from lead candidate selection to proof of concept. It’s great to be acknowledged for our commitment in partnering with our clients to transform lives. ” Chris Perkin CEO, Altasciences
